Introduction of Dynamax

Event Details

The Dynamax event will run from September 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. to September 15, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. local time. During this period, trainers can participate in 1-star Max Battles featuring:

Bulbasaur
Charmander
Squirtle
Skwovet
Wooloo

Shiny versions of these Pokémon may also be available during the event.

Special Research Tasks

In addition to Max Battles, trainers can complete new Special Research tasks focused on this feature. These tasks will provide rewards like Max Particles and a special Dynamax Band avatar item. The research is available from September 3 to December 3, 2024.

Event Bonuses

Players will benefit from bonuses during the Dynamax event:

2× XP for winning a Max Battle
2× XP for spinning PokéStops
