EA FC 25

EA updated 4 evolutions at once last week, which was a consolidation of 2 weeks of updates after a bug. Many players are concerned about whether new bugs will appear, but so far, no new bugs have been reported. The previous buggy evolutions were primarily those that exceeded limits. The evolutions updated last week all have set caps to prevent the early appearance of 99-rated players. Regardless, the evolutions have been updated normally. In this article, we will recommend single cards for the 4 evolutions.
First, let's look at the 1st evolution, Goal Frenzy. This is a free evolution aimed at forward players, and it notably increases shooting by 13 points and speed by 6 points, but they all have caps of 87 for shooting and 89 for speed. It can also increase weak foot ability by 1 star, but the cap for that is also 4 stars.
For this evolution, I only recommend 1 card: Bamba. Overall, I think this card looks the most impressive because it gives a top speed rating of 89. The shooting rating jumps from 73 to 86, and dribbling increases from 79 to 86. This is a significant boost. Additionally, his original gold card comes with Silver Skill Moves and Silver Rocket, making it a solid choice in terms of skill attributes, plus his chemistry in La Liga is quite valuable. Therefore, my top recommendation for a single card is this one.
The next evolution is Playmaker Glow Up, another silver card upgrade. It is limited to the CM position and cannot have a "+" player role. Overall, all the minor attributes have increased by 8 to 10 points, which is typical for this type of evolution. There are 2 highlights: the 1st is the increase to 4-star skill moves and 4-star weak foot ability, and the 2nd is that it introduces the 1st gold special skill, Inclusive Pass, available to all players this year. It also adds a very useful dual "+" player role: PLAYMAKE++. Since the base card for this evolution has clearly defined attributes, we only recommend 2 single cards.
The 1st card is Vilhena, a player who may be useful in the Dutch league but comes from a smaller league. After the evolution, he has 4-star skill moves and 4-star weak foot ability, with all attributes except speed above 80 points. His passing increases to 86, combined with the new gold Inclusive Pass, making it a card to look forward to for future synergy.
The 2nd card is Pobega from Serie A, which is now extinct in the transfer market. After the evolution, it presents a very appealing and balanced set of attributes. Although this card lacks some special skills, both skills are provided by this evolution.
Let me outline his synergy path: Pobega Silver - We Play Possession - Playmaker Glow Up. After the synergy, this card's situation is as follows: We Play Possession directly enhances his current lowest passing rating of 82 by 4 points and adds a very important silver Long Ball Pass, significantly increasing the overall usefulness of this card. Compared to his previous all-round midfield version, he loses 4 points in speed but gains 7 points in shooting, 5 points in passing, and adds a gold special skill and 1-star skill moves. The previous path had a paid evolution, while this path is completely free, making it one of the most cost-effective cards in recent years, so it is included in this recommendation.
Next, we have 2 evolutions, each with its own unique features. First, let's look at the Rapid Wing Mastery evolution, which is limited to the LW position. It adds 1-star skill moves and a substantial increase of 12 points in speed, making this the biggest highlight of the evolution. It also adds a winger+ player role and includes a Rapid silver special skill, clearly emphasizing speed as its main feature.
For this evolution, we recommend 4 single cards. The 1st card is Pedro Gonçalves from the Portuguese Primeira Liga. Its standout feature is a very comprehensive skill set, along with a gold TIKITAKA trait. He also plays in 2 left midfield positions, totaling 4 positions, but the chemistry needs some careful adjustments.
The 2nd card is Szoboszlai from the Bundesliga. This card has very high overall attributes, and his 84-rated speed can be increased by 3 points, along with some stamina boosts. The addition of a Rapid special skill, combined with his winger player role, suggests that Szoboszlai will definitely see increased usage.
The 3rd card is Majri, who, like the 1st card Pedro, is also a treasure trove of skills. After his evolution, his speed has significantly increased. I still remember this card as one of the standout cards from the start of last year's game. It had a slight drawback in speed, but now it has been raised to 89. Along with his original traits of 5-star skill moves and a gold Whipped Pass, his usability will definitely improve, especially if you’re looking for a player in a French team.
Lastly, we come to the upgraded Yamale. After the evolution, Yamale’s speed increases by 3 points, and his stamina sees a significant boost. Compared to the previous POTM card, he also gains a Rapid special skill and is faster overall. So if you happen to get this 84-rated Yamale from the ongoing weekly rewards, there’s no doubt he should be considered as a strong card in this evolution recommendation.
Finally, we arrive at the only paid evolution among the 4: Bag of Tricks. The cost is 50,000 coins or 900 green points. As the only paid evolution, it offers the highest overall boost among all evolutions. Unlike the previous one, this evolution is limited to the RM position, so it covers both sides effectively. It provides a significant increase of 9 points in speed and 15 points in dribbling. Additionally, there are boosts in shooting, passing, and physical attributes, with 2 silver special skills: Technical and Trickster. It also adds an Inside Forward++ player role and improves 1-star skill moves and weak foot ability.
Let’s take a closer look at its capped attributes. The cap is not the usual flashy limit we expect; it’s 4-star skill moves and 3-star weak foot. Why is the weak foot limited to 1 star? You’ll understand when we get to the 1st single card recommendation.
Once again, it’s Yamale. Some players feel that the drop rate for the black Yamale is too low; I’ve sacrificed several gold Yamales without getting the black version. This card allows you to include the gold Yamale. The gold Yamale has 4-star skill moves and 3-star weak foot, and EA doesn’t want this 50,000 coin evolution to elevate Yamale to a level that even the black or POTM versions can’t reach. Why? Because I believe they will release promo cards in the future. This card’s speed is even 1 point higher than our previous black Yamale, and it also has an additional dual-role player. However, a major drawback is that this evolution does not boost stamina like the previous one, leaving it with a meager stamina rating of 63. Compared to the earlier version, it lacks a silver Rapid skill but gains a silver Trickster. Overall, if you want to use this card but can’t get the black version, spending 50,000 coins for a spot in a La Liga team is definitely worth considering.
Next is Olise from Bayern, who has become a rare card that can benefit from a 1-star weak foot upgrade. His original weak foot rating is 2, which can now be increased to 3, and he gains a Trickster special skill, bringing his total to a solid 8. The biggest enhancement to his attributes is that his speed of 83 and shooting of 80 have been increased by 9 points and 6 points, respectively, along with a 3-point boost in dribbling. This transformation makes this card significantly better. If it originally had an overall rating of 84, assuming it layers up from the black version, Olise would definitely deserve an overall rating of 87 or even 88. However, now with the evolution, it stands at only 85. Given that many players are still using cards like Sané or Coman, which have been around since the game's launch, Olise stands out. Thus, having this card is quite reasonable. If you’re using a Bundesliga team, I think even if you find this card, it’s definitely worth getting and refining. If you need coins to buy players, you can try purchasing EA FC 25 coins from Buymmog.
Next, we recommend 2 cards from the Saudi League, our old friends Talisca and Mané. Both cards have seen significant speed boosts, reaching 88 and 90 respectively, putting them in a highly usable range, combined with their already impressive attributes and models. These 2 cards have undoubtedly received substantial enhancements.
That concludes our recommendations for all single cards. If the article receives good feedback, we will add synergy recommendations and continue to update with future evolutions and synergy suggestions.
